Over in the Meadow by Ezra Jack Keats

·      The YouTube Link to the weekly Read-Aloud is located: HERE

Questions to ask your child in response to the read-aloud:

·      What do you notice about the numbers in this book?

·      If there were another page in this book, how many animal babies would there be on this page? Why?
·
Learn at Home activity for today:

  Play-Doh Animals
If play-doh or clay is available, your child can create the animal babies they are studying. Show your child pictures of the animal so they may reference as they create. Use the names of the animal babies frequently throughout the activity. Children can also use play-doh or clay to create objects related to the animal babies such as food, homes, etc. Ask your child to tell you about their animal. You can add this as dictation to their project or invite them to add their own writing!
