Questions to ask your child in response to the read-aloud:
· Big Bear and Little Bear played outside in the bright sunlight. What do you like to do when it is sunny outside?
Learn at Home activity for today:
How Many Steps to the Door?
Invite your child to guess how many steps they will need to take to get to a specific place such as a door. After they have made a prediction, invite them to walk to the specified place. Help count the steps as needed. Substitute another location such as a window or bathroom for the door.
Open ended questions:
