Updates
· School is Closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.
· A new Learning packet that may be used for the remainder of the school year is available for pick-up this week from 9am - 1pm. Also available for pick up is a backpack with fun learning materials inside!
· Online learning will continue for the rest of this school year.

Everywhere Babies by Susan Meyers
Questions to ask your child in response to the read-aloud:
· Every day, everywhere babies are kissed. Why do you think people like to kiss babies?
· Every day, everywhere babies make friends. How do babies make friends?
Learn at Home activity for today:
Toddle
Watch the video Babies Learning to Walk. Ask your child to reflect on what the baby might be thinking as s/he is learning how to walk. Did the baby fall down? Did they get back up and try again?

Baby Portraits:
Have your child look at a picture from when they were babies. Invite them to look at the pictures and draw or paint a picture of themselves as a baby. As children observe and consider their pictures, engage them in discussion about the details they notice in the pictures. What has changed about the way they look now compared to when they were babies? Why? What did their hair look like? Their eyes? Did they have chubby cheeks? Etc. Children who are ready can add words to their portraits. Please email or text a picture of any completed work to: msserbonescovid19@gmail.com
